Description Situated 7 minutes north of beautiful Hanalei town, and just south of Haena, where the film South Pacific was filmed, this brand new Polynesian style bungalow is located at the end of Ananalu Road, shrouded in bamboo, with Wainiha Stream running along side. Minutes from the famous Tunnels, Ke’e and Lumahai Beaches, Bamboo Hale is a cool and relaxing way to end a busy day of sunning, snorkeling, kayaking or hiking. Enjoy the shade from the bamboo forest and listen to the waters of Wainiha Stream below. Fully furnished with brand new furniture imported from exotic Bali, Bamboo Hale features a fully equipped kitchen, including granite counter tops, travertine tile floors, brand new appliances and all necessary cookware, utensils and linens. The dining area includes a teak dining table that can extend to seat eight. The living room is large and gaily decorated with colorful wall prints and pillows, also from Bali. Floors throughout the house are Brazilian tiger wood and the house is surrounded by dark-stained, wrap around decks. There is a separate master bungalow suite with king size bed, travertine tiled bathroom with claw foot tub and shower. The master suite also features a wet bar and breakfast table. The second bedroom features a 4-poster queen size bed and bamboo blinds. Beautiful Hawaiian quilts cover the beds in both rooms. A second bathroom located in the main house, also featuring travertine tile, a claw foot tub and shower. The large living room can be sectioned off by solid wood pocket doors to create two additional bedrooms. There is a queen size day bed which can sleep two and a twin size day bed which pulls out to accommodate an additional person or two. Two Futon mattresses are also supplied. Additional features are a washer/dryer and two television sets with basic cable stations, a small stereo CD player, a supply of assorted reading material and beach equipment including beach chairs, beach towels and coolers. There is a telephone to the house that makes local calls only, but accepts long distance calls. Phone cards can be purchased at local stores if long distance calling is required. No cell phone service is available.
